Key Scripture:
He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
(Titus 3:5-7 NIV)

Salvation is the greatest act of grace. It is not based on our performance, good deeds, or moral standing but on God's love and mercy. Many people believe that being good enough will earn them a place in heaven, but Scripture makes it clear that righteousness does not come from us. It comes from God alone.

Titus 3:5-7 reminds us that we are saved not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. The grace of God washes away our sins, renews us, and makes us new creations through the Holy Spirit. Romans 5:8 reinforces this truth by saying, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." This means that salvation is not a reward for good behavior but an undeserved gift.

Jesus' sacrifice on the cross is the ultimate display of grace. He paid the price for our sins so that we could receive eternal life. Ephesians 1:7 says, "In him, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace." If salvation were based on our efforts, we would always live in uncertainty, wondering if we have done enough. But grace assures us that through faith in Christ, we are already accepted and forgiven.

Do you sometimes struggle with the idea that salvation is a free gift rather than something you have to earn?

How does knowing that Jesus’ sacrifice fully paid for your sins change the way you approach God?

Take a moment to thank God for His grace that saves you completely.

Grace is the foundation of our salvation. It is God’s way of saying, "You do not have to earn My love, I have already given it to you." Today, embrace the freedom that comes from knowing your salvation is secure in Christ.

PRAY THIS:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the grace that saves me. I acknowledge that I can never earn my way to You, but You have made a way through Jesus. Help me to live with confidence in Your love and to share this amazing grace with others. In Jesus matchless name. Amen.
