Key Scripture: But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. (1 Corinthians 15:10 NIV)

Grace does not only save and transform us; it also empowers us. Many people think of grace as simply God’s forgiveness, but it is also the divine strength that enables us to live according to His will.

In 1 Corinthians 15:10, Paul acknowledges that all he accomplished was through God’s grace. He worked hard, preached the gospel, endured hardships, and remained faithful, yet he understood that it was not by his own ability. It was God’s grace working through him.

We often feel inadequate when facing challenges, but God’s grace is more than enough. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, God reassures Paul by saying, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." This means that in our weakness, His grace strengthens us. We do not have to rely on our strength alone.

Grace empowers us to live holy lives, serve God faithfully, and overcome trials. In 2 Timothy 2:1, Paul encourages, "Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus." This reminds us that our strength does not come from ourselves but from the grace of God at work within us.
