Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, 'I find no pleasure in them.' [Ecclesiastes 12:1]
As we journey through life, it is easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily responsibilities, relationships, and pursuits. But Solomon, the wise author of Ecclesiastes, reminds us to prioritize our relationship with God, especially in our younger years.
The phrase "Remember your Creator" is a call to acknowledge and honor God as the source of life, wisdom, and purpose. It is a reminder to cultivate a deep and intimate relationship with Him, to seek His guidance, and to trust in His goodness.
Psalm 119:9-11 says, "How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word... I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." We need to hide God's Word in your heart and live according to His principles.
Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to "trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding; in all our ways submit to him, and he will make our paths straight."
By trusting in God and submitting to His will, we can navigate life's challenges with confidence.
Sir/Ma as you grow older, life's challenges and difficulties can weigh you down, and you may lose sight of what truly matters. That's why it's essential to establish a strong foundation of faith early on, so that when the storms of life come, you can stand firm on the Rock of your salvation.
Are you prioritizing your relationship with God in your daily life?
Are you seeking His guidance and wisdom in all your decisions?
Take a moment to reflect on your priorities and make adjustments to put God first.
But seek first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. [Matthew 6:33]
Dear Heavenly Father, help me to remember You as my Creator and to prioritize our relationship above all else. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
God richly bless you for reading. Please don't forget to share to bless others.
