Scripture: Exodus 14:5-31

MEMORY VERSE:
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world..." [Ephesians 6:12]

Beloved, when the Israelites left Egypt, they thought they had finally escaped Pharaoh's oppression. But Pharaoh's army pursued them, seeking to reclaim their control.

Similarly, when we accept Christ, we leave the Egypt of our old life behind. However, the Pharaoh of sin, fear, and doubt can still pursue us.

Because you have left Egypt doesn't mean Pharaoh will leave you. (AJS)

Beloved, what are the Pharaohs in your life that you thought you had left behind?
Are there lingering habits, thoughts, or fears that still hold you captive?

Today, take a moment to reflect on your life and identify the areas where you feel like Pharaoh is still pursuing you. Write them down and pray specifically for God's guidance and strength to overcome them.
Put on the armor of God (Ephesians 6:13-18) to resist the enemy's tactics.

You were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light. (Ephesians 5:8)

Walk in the light of Christ, and let His truth transform your thoughts and actions.

SAY THIS: Thank You for delivering me from the Egypt of my old life. Help me recognize and overcome the Pharaohs that still pursue me. Amen!
