Bible Verse: Philippians 3:13-14  Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

As we step into the new month of August, I want to remind us that every new month presents an opportunity for a fresh start, a chance to re-evaluate our priorities, and a time to refocus our attention on what truly matters.

In our text today, the Apostle Paul reminds us that we must forget what is behind and strain toward what is ahead. We cannot change the past, but we can shape the future. August presents us a chance to start a new journey, and to press on toward the goals God has set before us.

August is a month of possibility, a month where we can rediscover our purpose and passion, rebuild relationships and with God and restart our journey toward our goals and dreams

Beloved, As we journey through this new month, we should let go of the past, and trust God for the future. Let us focus on God for the has great things to do for and through us.
