Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
Hebrews 13:17

It pays when disciples, members, citizens and subordinates obey their leaders. It is even vital in the church for members to obey and submit to the leaders placed over them. Jesus Christ, the bishop, has appointed shepherds, pastors or leaders to carry out His work on earth. They will give account to every soul entrusted under their care; therefore, in as much as they have a responsibility, the members also have a responsibility to support them. Their support is in their obedience and submission so that the shepherds can do their work with joy. When they work with joy, blessings flow to the members. On the other hand, when they don't get the support because of disobedience and insubordination, they are grieved; and instead of blessing flowing, grief, pain, bitterness, and curses are passed on to the members. Dear beloved, let us choose to submit to authority in the church and our state. Shalom.

DAILY PRAYER

Nahum 2:21
For the LORD hath turned away the excellency of Jacob, as the excellency of Israel: for the emptiers have emptied them out, and marred their vine branches.

May the Lord deliver you from every emptiers, in Jesus Name. Amen!

Have a wonderful day ahead.
