TOPIC: SUBMIT YOURSELF TO GOD

James 4:7-8
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

At a time like this, we need to rededicate ourselves to God, to forget about the old life style. We need to put on the new man and put to death all works of the flesh. Submission to God is an act of surrendering or yielding to Him. As a child of God,
If you have a problem with submission ,it is time to say to yourself, "I will submit to God. The more you say it to yourself, the more the Holy Spirit will empower you to submit to Him. If you have submitted to Him, Sin will no longer reign in your body neither will you be an instruments of unrighteousness. When we have surrendered all to Him, He give us direction and instruction in our journey in life. When we submit to God it will be easy for us to resist the devil and all manner of evil. If you do not submit to God, you cannot resist the devil. Hence, you will become proud like the enemy and become his footstool, being controlled by him. That is the more reason that some Christians cannot make much progress with the gospel. Bro/sis, this year (2023) submit totally to God, let Him have His way and perform His wonder of your creation and fulfill His covenants in your life. Rededicate your life to Him today, if you are not yet born again, repent of your sin and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour today. You will succeed beyond your imagination in Jesus name. Amen.


PRAYER POINTS

Father, give me the grace to resist the devil and submit totally for you in Jesus name.

Father, let thy kingdom come and your will be done in my life in Jesus name.
