Satan is called the accuser of God's children according to Revelation 12:10. He accuses us of past sins, past mistakes, in order to pull us down and bring us into condemnation. He keeps whispering to us: “Look at what you did 10 years ago, 20 years ago. Remember what you did 30 days ago. Do you think God is going to forget that? Do you think you can just go to church and worship God after what you’ve done? You’re a loser!” Satan is always accusing us, because we have sinned and have broken God’s commandment. But the Holy Spirit is always drawing us to Jesus and reminding us that "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9).
